Tuchel: Not just Havertz, anyone should look up to Cristiano Ronaldo

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel said that "many players" and not just Kai Havertz can fastidiously learn a thing or two from Cristiano Ronaldo when it comes to taking their chances in front of goal.

Havertz alone missed three clear-cut scoring opportunities in half one.

Ronaldo meanwhile showed his ruthless streak yet again when he scored with his and Manchester United's first chance of the game to cancel out Marcos Alonso's opener.

Speaking to Capital Football after the 1-1 draw between the two sides, Tuchel admitted that shipping a goal at the first time of asking and only finding the net once despite his side's total domination are equally frustrating.

He said: "Both are not nice and you are always on the sidelines I have the feeling when we scored hopefully we continue in the same way with the same focus.

"There is a statistic that says after a goal, it is likely to concede a big chance or have a big chance.

"Today it was like this. We see it very often in many games.

"It can happen, it's is a piece of individual quality with the pass and where luck is involved because we had the ball twice, minimum one.

"N'golo Kante cut out the pass from (Nemanja) Matic and could have started a counter-attack but then we concede.

“So the reaction was good from that, the stadium woke up immediately and they want to push.

"But we didn't allow anything and were still dominant.

”I am happy also with the response to that, it's just the result is annoying today."

So should Havertz look up to the five-time Ballon D'Or winner to improve his end product ?

Tuchel said: "I think many players can look up to the quality, attitude and career of Ronaldo."
