Brentford continued to haunt Bournemouth in the Premier League, extending their unbeaten run to six matches against the Cherries with a 1-2 away win
Bees captain Christian Norgaard's half-volley secured an important three points for his side at the Vitality Stadium.
Thomas Frank's side went behind after an unfortunate own goal, with Milos Kerkez's cross met by Vitaly Janelt’s shoulder, causing the ball to loop over Mark Flekken.
However, Bournemouth’s lead lasted just 13 minutes, as Yoane Wissa scored his 14th league goal of the season from a Bryan Mbeumo corner.
Antoine Semenyo had a glaring opportunity at the start of the second half when his headed effort struck the crossbar from just a couple of yards out.
Bournemouth continued to dominate possession but struggled to break through Brentford's resolute defence.
In the 70th minute, Bournemouth failed to clear the ball from a Brentford long throw, and it kindly fell to the Danish international Norgaard, who struck home to hand the visitors all three points.
A win for Andoni Iraola’s side would have propelled them into sixth place in the league, putting them in a fantastic position for a European spot.
However, the Cherries' complacency in front of goal keeps them in ninth place, winless in their past four fixtures.
On the contrary, it’s not all doom and gloom for Bournemouth fans, as they face Manchester City in an FA Cup quarter-final after the international break. A win would send them to Wembley and a first FA Cup Semi Final in the club's history.
