Kulusevski on Spurs thrashing of Man City: It's the best result of my career

Dejan Kulusevski once again proved his ability to perform against the very best in world football as he starred in Tottenham’s 4-0 thumping win against Manchester City. 

Speaking to Capital Football on Tottenham’s win Kulusevski said: “It's the best result ever in my career and also for the team. It’s a big night for the whole club, the coach, the players. Nobody can take this from us”.

“We showed a lot of character, but it wasn’t for free. This is years of working and today we saw another masterclass”.

However, when asked whether this was a turning point for Tottenham Kuluveski said : “No it doesn’t feel like a turning point because we have to be much more consistent, we have to be better in other games. These games suit us perfectly”.

“City have a lot of the ball so sometimes we can rest when we defend. There is so much space up there and we play one against one. Then it is always dangerous because we have a lot of quality. It is always great to play against great teams because they want to play football, when you play lower teams it is not much football because there are a lot of fouls, a lot of injuries and they slow down the game”

“I believed in the team as in past years we have come here and played really well, this is the game I look forward to most in the year and once again it has happened”.

When questioned whether he believes he can be one of the best players in the premier league Kulusevski said: “I think I have something that no other player has, so you can’t compare me to any other player. Of course I watch other players and take the best stuff from them, but with my engine, with my heart, I don’t get tired”.

“I feel like I can still do a lot in my career, clearly you have to strive to be as good as possible, every day in every kind of way, on the pitch and outside of the pitch”.

“Right now, I'm doing my best and I'm really not demanding anything for myself. You know when a mistake happens, it happens. So I'm maturing a lot and I'm enjoying my football a lot more”.

Kulusevski has created more chances (33) than any other player in the Premier league this season, as well as leading the way for most possessions won in the attacking third (16).
