Everton 3-2 Tottenham Hotspur

Goals: Calvert-Lewin, Ndiaye, own-goal Gray (E), Kulusevski & Richarlison (TH)

Tottenham Hotspur's crisis has deepened after playing fellow strugglers Everton back into form in Sunday's 3-2 reversal at Goodison Park.

From massive underachievers in the Sean Dyche days to reborn under David Moyes, dynamic duo Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Iliman Ndiaye benefitted from playing against Tottenham's shaky makeshift back-three to rediscover their lethal touch.

They both scored crackers in the opening 45 minutes before Archie Gray's own-goal completed a 3-0 first-half humiliation.

Dejan Kulusevski pulled one back with a great chip after 77 minutes before Richarlison made it 3-2 in injury-time. But it was too little too late as the Toffees, who had the measure of their north London rivals from start to finish, won their first game in Moyes' second homecoming.

His counterpart Ange Postecoglou meanwhile is skating on increasingly thin ice with his future now in limbo and in Daniel Levy's ruthless hands.

Not only do Spurs look as if they've lost their way but his tactics no longer seem to produce the goods. Even their once-entertaining football is a distant memory. The Australian isn't helped also by the horrendous injury crisis with his side seemingly incapable of coping without the double absence of Christian Romero and Micky van de Ven at the back. And for all his undisputed talent, Kinsky has a long way to go before he can exude the same aura and calmness to the backline as Guglielmo Vicario.

Is it a coincidence also that Tottenham stopped conceding after Radu Dragusin came off with an injury at half-time?

Everton set the tone early on with Czech Republic goalie Kinsky having to make himself big to keep out Lindstrom's shot. But the game was only locked for seven minutes as Atalanta target Calvert-Lewin turned three Tottenham defenders outside in before finding the net with a composed finish.

Jordan Pickford denied Son Heung-Min twice to lay the foundations for Iliman Ndiaye adding to Tottenham's woes with a sumptuous finish that preceded a majestic Ronaldo Nazario prime stepover to the left that took out the Londoners' entire backline.

And the crash was complete when Gray inadvertently sent the ball into his own net after a failed clearance in the box.

Kulusevski tried to revive Tottenham's hopes with a fine finish but when Richarlison sent a lame shot at Pickford six minutes from time the race was run for good.

Fifteenth in the table and eight points clear, they are at risk of being dragged in a dogfight if the next six weeks play out like the past eight.

So what next for Postecoglou who looks like he can't get a tune out of this lot anymore?

Did you leave before the end? It was Everton 3-2 Spurs & Richarlison scored in the 92nd minute (something you don’t even mention)!
