By Paul Lagan
Spurs have followed in the footsteps of London's other underperforming side Chelsea by announcing a new head coach.
Ange Postecoglou is the north Londoners' new first team head coach, becoming the first Australian to manage in the Premier League.
He starts on July 1.
Club chairman Daniel Levy said: “Ange brings a positive mentality and a fast, attacking style of play. He has a strong track record of developing players and an understanding of the importance of the link from the academy - everything that is important to our club. We are excited to have Ange join us as we prepare for the season ahead."
Chelsea of course appointed ex-Spurs coach Mauricio Pochettino to replace caretaker boss Frank Lampard, who replaced Graham Potter who replaced Thomas Tuchel.
