Eden Hazard believes that the Blues won’t be sitting back against Arsenal tomorrow night in the second leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final - but are going to the Emirates to win.

The Belgium midfielder is is a rich vein of form and is hopeful to take that into the crucial game.

He said: “It's a semi-final. We will go there to win, for sure. If we are thinking to defend against Arsenal it's a bad thing, because we need to score goals. We will see who is going to play - perhaps the manager can change some players.

“But we want to win trophies at the end, and the League Cup is a good trophy.”

Hazard is fully aware that this could be a defining moment in their season and that it will be a tough encounter.

“It’s a big games,” he said. “Special because, you know, everyone is watching. It's a semi-final and our fans want Chelsea in finals, so they are watching the game. The Emirates Stadium is good with a lot of fans. It's the kind of night you want to shine in.”

The drawn league game at the Emirates was an open game, and Hazard expects the same.

“We need to find solutions to create problems for them,” he said.

“We will go there to win the game, create chances because if we don't create chances we can't score. It's that simple.”
